Currently, no. HomeVerdict's current revenue comes from buyers through research reports, advisory services and subscriptions. Our research is designed to remain independent of builder sales incentives. If our business model evolves in the future, we will clearly disclose any changes and explain how we protect the independence of our research.

Listings platforms are built to help builders and brokers sell inventory. HomeVerdict is built to help buyers evaluate that inventory. We do not display listings, do not accept builder promotion fees, and do not connect buyers with sales teams. Same market, opposite side of the table.

How is this different from a builder's sales team?

A builder's sales team is compensated for closing that project. Our analysts are compensated for producing accurate research, whatever the answer turns out to be. We regularly recommend 'wait' or 'avoid' verdicts, which no builder sales team is structured to give you.

AI research agents pull from RERA portals, municipal filings (BBMP/BDA/similar), court records, published market indices and our proprietary builder dossiers. Findings are cross referenced across eight research pillars: Builder, Project, Legal, Price, Locality, Investment, Lifestyle and Future Growth before a draft verdict is generated.

Can AI generated research really be trusted?

AI does the depth and speed. Humans do the calibration. Every published verdict passes through a human analyst review, and every claim is bound to a citable source. Trust comes from being able to click through and verify each source yourself, not from trusting the AI itself.

Two ways. First, cross pillar reconciliation flags contradictions between sources, a builder claim vs an RERA filing, for example. Second, human analysts review confidence flags, legal amendments and edge cases before publish. Nothing goes live on our word alone.

Each pillar carries its own confidence range, calibrated to the completeness and recency of the underlying sources. Higher confidence means less uncertainty, not necessarily a better project. A high confidence 'wait' is more actionable than a low confidence 'buy'.

Public filings and price indices refresh on a rolling cadence, typically weekly for prices, monthly for legal filings, and immediately when a material event (RERA notice, court order, plan amendment) is detected. Every report shows its last verified timestamp per pillar.

We assemble a builder dossier from delivery track record (last 5 projects), RERA compliance history, litigation and consumer forum records, financial stability signals, and escalation patterns on prior projects. Everything is cited to primary filings.

We compute a fair value range for the specific configuration (2BHK / 3BHK / villa) against the locality median, adjusted for tower, floor, view and amenity premium. Trend lines are computed from actual transaction data where available, and asking prices where not, with the source labelled.

Yes, via our Document Review service. Empanelled independent lawyers review your title chain, RERA disclosures and OC/CC status, and deliver a written opinion. The lawyer is independent; HomeVerdict does not take a share of legal fees.

Yes. HomeVerdict is used by NRI buyers researching Indian property remotely. All reports are delivered digitally, advisor calls run over video, and document review can be handled fully asynchronously. Payments accept international cards.

UPI, credit and debit cards (domestic and international), and net banking via our regulated payment processor. Invoices are issued for all paid engagements.

AI Verdict Reports are refundable if the report cannot be produced (e.g. project falls outside coverage). Advisor calls are refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Document review fees, once the lawyer engagement starts, are not refundable.

What happens if a builder disputes a verdict?

Accepted Answer

We publish research, not opinion. If a builder disputes a claim, we re verify against the cited source. If the source itself has changed (a filing has been updated, a matter has been settled), we update the report and note the change. We do not amend verdicts under commercial pressure.
